Dr. Dre Chronic 2001
I thought I would start off my albums with one of my favorites. It was one of the first albums I had a chance to get my hands on and I hope that you can enjoy the experience as much as I have. The tunes are good, the message is solid, and you can never forget his voice. He is a chronic marijuana smoker, which is why he dubbed this album “The Chronic.” This was only the second studio album cut by Dr. Dre. It was released back in 1999 on Interscope Records. My favorite part about this album is that several of the songs have been written by ghost writers. One of my favorite songs of all time, “Still Dre” is actually written by Jay-Z (under his real name Sean Carter) which makes me feel very good inside considering how much respect I have always had for Sean Carter. Three singles were spawned off of this album: 1) “Still D.R.E.” 2) “Forget About Dre” 3) “The Next Episode“.

I’m not sure what to think of Shawn Carter and the illuminati and even though got that ether hard I’m still a fan of his work from reasonable doublt-black album and I still think he makes good music at times even though its a lil commercial
